In our more than 30 year history we have gained an enviable reputation in this community for the superior educational service that we have provided.
I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the staff and students of PSO, to thank our generous community and our parents for all the work and support that has been extended our way. It is most greatly appreciated!
You are a part of the proud PSO tradition!

| As you may be aware, as a result of the cancellation of optional provincial examinations, the Provincial Scholarship Program has been revised. Graduation Program Examinations Scholarships will be awarded based on students' performance on the five mandatory provincial exams: English 10, a Math 10, Science 10, Social Studies 11 (or Science Humaines 11) and Language Arts 12. To be eligible for a scholarship, students must achieve at least a "B" (73% or higher) final mark -- provincial exam and school mark combined in one of the Language Arts 12. |
Students must achieve at least one "A" (86% or higher) and three "B's" (73% or higher) on the four of their best provincial exams (can include a Language Arts 12).
The examination rewrite rule will be relaxed for one year (until August 31, 2012) to allow students to rewrite a required exam to improve their scores. |
